Camping World Stadium is a doors stadium in Orlando, Florida, United States located in the West Lakes community of Downtown Orlando, west of recent sports activities and enjoyment centers consisting of the Kia Center, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and Inter&Co Stadium. It opened in 1936 as Orlando Stadium and has also been referred to as the Tangerine Bowl and Florida Citrus Bowl. The City of Orlando owns and operates the stadium.
Construction at the stadium started in 1936 as a task of the Works Progress Administration under President Franklin D. Roosevelt at some stage in the Great Depression. The stadium was built to the east of the baseball park Tinker Field, which opened in 1914.
